A NEW TALENT AT FORTÉ: LUCA ASSELIN

FORTE, PROUD TO BE REPRESENTING LUCA ASSELIN!

Of Italian and Native American origin, Luca Asselin was born in Quebec. Asselin completed contemporary dance training with Dave Saint-Pierre as well as theater training at École de Théâtre de Saint-Hyacinthe (2010).

He quickly made his mark as soon as he appeared in a play by Daniel Paquette at the Théatre Denise-Pelletier (2010) and in three consecutive advertising tours for automobile companies (2011 to 2013). Asselin continues his career on television in productions such as 30 vies (2011), Braqueurs (2013), Les Pécheurs (2014), District 31 (2018) & Une autre histoire (2020) for the most part he obtains leading roles. At the same time, he also played roles on the big screen, notably in the films Discopathe (2012) by Renaud Gauthier, Embrasse-moi comme tu m'aimes (2016) by André Forcier and L'Arracheuse de Temps (2020) by Félix Leclerc, written by Fred Pellerin.

Finally, as a writer-director, Asselin produced and acted in the web series Entre Hochelag pis Ontario (2013).
