From an early age, Zaya developed a passion for the performing arts, music and film. In 2023, she graduated from Collège Lionel-Groulx with a three-year diploma in musical theater performance, giving her professional training in singing, dancing and acting. During her studies, she played important roles in two musical theater productions: "Je suis une créature émotionnelle" directed by Olivier Berthiaume and "Je te vois" directed by Renaud Paradis. Her diverse stage experiences inspired her to become the actress she is today
